Three races and two wins for Jimmie Johnson, while it has been three races and three wins for our Creatures.
Johnson won for the second week in a row, 49th time in his career, after he was able to pull away from teammate Jeff Gordon with 16 laps to go in the Shelby American GT 350. Gordon had the dominate car all day long but was done in when he took two tires on his last pit stop while Johnson took four.
Hometown heroes Kurt and Kyle Busch were on opposite ends of the spectrum at Las Vegas. Kurt started from the pole but wasn't able to lead a lap and finished 35th after being collected in a wreck not of his own doing.
Kyle on the other hand defended his 2009 race win well, he ran up front most of the day and led laps but was done in a by a pit road speeding penalty. He finished 15th in his M&M's Toyota.
The Richard Childress Racing comeback tour continued in week three of the season. Kevin Harvick once again finished second to Johnson while teammates Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton finished in the eighth and 11th positions respectively. All three sit in the top ten in points as Harvick is still the leader.
As for our Creatures, they too had up and down days.
Some were able to keep up with their early season momentum, while others are just looking for some daylight. This week is Christopher Leone who took home the win and 10 bonus points toward the Chase after correctly picking Johnson and as such made will be the one with the target on his back as the series heads down south to Atlanta.
When they get there, here's how the rest of the Creatures will stack up.

The Sprint Cup Series heads back to its roots, the south, by making a stop at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Kurt Busch is the defending winner and he'll be looking to put a disappointing Las Vegas race behind him. Brother Kyle is also past winner, the 2008 event, and he's still searching for his first win of the year.
