After looking at comments and headlines about the three players, I was simply wondering who's better? To decide who is better we must try to compare them and give an outcome.
Lionel Messi. He is the now and future star of Barcelona and by far is their best player. He has got great skill and can dance around players. He scores a fair amount of goals and is always giving other players goals with all the assists he makes. He seems to be able to deal with pressure and is known as the man of the hour.
Kaka. Simply one of the best players in the world. He can take it round payers and run into space that isn't there. He has great vision and is always the pinnacle of what Milan do. He shows great loyalty in Milan and is probably going to be their all his career. Goals and dealing with pressure are nothing to Kaka and deals with both brilliantly he is a cool and calm player that still has a lot to give.
Cristiano Ronaldo. Simply the player of the Premier League last season and he was the main player for Manchester United and really at some times along with his buddy Tevez pulled United along by them selves.
He knows how to score goals with a giant 41 last season and his skill is great as well. He can adopt to any place on the field and is always supplying his team mates with assists. The only problem is loyalty with all the hoo ha about his move to Madrid still up in the air.
However all three of these players are incredible and in my opinion will soon be in competition with Fabregas, Tevez and Torres and of course David Villa when they start to become players of their own.
My question to you all is who out of the original three is the best? You decide!!!

sorry for the confusion dude i ment when fabregas ,teves and torres and villa become more icons in football. like ronaldo kaka messi are scoreing goals and assisting left right and centre and in a season fab , tev,torres and villa will be able to honestly say they are of the same quality as ronaldo kaka and messi.

I'd say Kaka is far more influential than either.

Fabregas, Tevez, Torres, Villa will never contest Ronaldo, Kaka, or Messi.
Fabregas is a great passer, but the other three are just goal scorers - not makers.

For me at the moment Kaka is third becouse the other two are simply at their peak at the moment.
Now Christiano Ronaldo is a very good player he scores lots of goal but in nature he is a player who provides assists for his team mates like Messi. Ronaldo has had his best season and Messi has not played his best season yet but they are very close.
So what i mean is, they are both good players but i dont think Ronaldo can put more than what he has put into his form at the moment, but on the other side Messi is only begining to climb to his peak and he is equeivalent to Ronaldo at his peak.
These players were put into the test of carecter by they met in the uefa semi's, all around the media it was "Messi vs Ronaldo". Manchester won the tie but they were not a better team at the end they were only destined to win the uefa. On the other hand, Messi won the battle against Ronaldo as he was constantly attacking but did not have that luck.
You will never find Messi playing badly in a game, but Ronaldo does play bad sometimes.
So Messi is a more trusted player than Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is a Gifted player but not a genius.
On the other hand Messi has both.
But Ronaldo will win the world player of the year award becouse he helped his team to achieve more than what Messi did.

And Ronaldo is a goal maker? He's a ball hog, with lots of skill, but
completely selfish. And he often disappears at crunch time. He can't even lace up Torres'

It is hard to compare Messi with Ronaldo. They have different styles. Statistically, Ronaldo beats both Messi and Kaka hands down. But Ronaldo was unable to impress in EURO 2008 and the game against Barca. I agree that Portages midfielders did not provide him good chances, but I think if Messi was playing for Portugal, he wouldn't stand in the box and wait for Deco and other players provide him scoring chances. Messi would have come out and started creating chances for others and himself. Technically, Messi is more efficent than Ronaldo if he is in the game, but he gets injured a lot due to the nature of his playing style. This makes it hard for any team that he plays on since the team becomes so much dependent on Messi when he plays and when he gets injured, the team doesn't know what to do and it takes them a long time to adapt to a new style.
To make a long story short, Ronaldo will win the player of the year award since statitics matter and in my opinion he deserves it, but Messi is a better player. I can't comment on Kaka since I haven't really watched his games lately.

Cristiano is the best by a mile. 42 goals & 9 assists, beating Bests record. Brilliant dribbler and playmaker. Incredible kick. Fast. Strong. Can read the pitch perfect. Little Messi and Big Kaka don't come close... It's not even worth talking about.

Messi is by far the best player, Kaka is the most well rounded, and Ronaldo is the biggest p^ssy...
Ronaldo had a great season but if Drogba doesn't get thrown out just before the PK's or Terry doesn't slip we are calling him the biggest choke in CL for his terrible penalty...

problem of premier league followers is that they don't know the different between genius and gr8 players. if you ask them Zidane and ronaldo they would prbably say ronaldo and there is no way you can tell them anythin either so let them have Ronaldo and the rest of the world messi.

Kaka is the better player of the 3. Followed by Messi, then Ronaldo. I am a Man U fan, so you can trust that I am honestly assessing all three. Last season belongs to ronaldo, hope he wins the player of the year. However, if my life depended on picking a player to step up and get it done when needed it would be in the order Kaka, Messi, then Ronaldo. Would like to see how the next couple of years will play out.

well i used to be a ronaldo fan.....bout 2 years ago i was crazy bout ronaldo....till i noticed dat his tricks didnt get him nowhere n dat he looked stupid compared to dinho or brazilian ronaldo who can shake 2 guys with one move....i dont think ronaldo has gwed control....he has mostly speed...i think kaka n messi have better control than ronaldo...messi is constant....he will always play gwed....ronaldo punks out during the big games.....n kaka well in he has too he steps up lil or big teams...kaka is also loyal...he will give it his all in a game....i also think ronaldo has an advantage dat he doesnt injured alot like messi or kaka.....dis season was all ronaldo....but i dont think he can repeat it again.....he didnt really have any competition cuz kaka n mess were injured alot....i think messi n kaka are better n will show it next year....

i guess it will be messi. i am an avid manu follower, but when u guys want a comparison between whose the better player on the field then i say it will be messi... it just scares me when i see him with the ball (when he is opposition); he just stops and around 3-4 defenders wud be staring at his foot for that next sudden move and when he does so, boy does he do so and he is totally unpredictable, and thats some control he has,. u will always know when its messi who has the ball, its as if the game suddenly paused for a second or two, and he is great at picking out and placing long (ground) passes.. kaka is also superb, he is the player that makes the killer moves into the opposition. and hes got everything to speak of a good player... ronaldo?!?!/ - well i used to like him.. but it sometimes get predictable on his case...a few quick stepovers, then some falling down or running...(yea.. hes got the speed)... then running then running... then rest... uhh :D.. happens haha... i do like his freekicks and aerial ability...

i would give the all-round edge to lionel messi. he is only 21, and is now regarded as probabbly the worlds best. he smashed ronaldo in the two legs against man u in the champions league, but credit to man u going through to the title. messi is faster, has better feat, beats defenders more easily, and has a great eye, and an incredible brain.
obviously ronaldo does too, but i dont think he quite matches with lionel messi. these three players are all truely amazing, but messi is the most fluent. no wonder how he'll be in 3 years time.
