Watching the Knicks vs. Kings game a couple weeks back, I watched and took notes. Yes, I was not happy that the Knicks lost, but I found something that interested me: Tyreke Evans.

I hate to throw praise on players, but I have to say: Tyreke Evans could just be the next LeBron James.

Confused? Please don't be. Tyreke Evans could be one of the guards in the NBA who has it all. When he plays point guard, he towers over most points in the NBA.

Plus, he never gives up the speed that you need from a point guard position. From the shooting guard position, Evans has a playmaking vision that reminds me of LeBron James.

Does he have weaknesses? Of course. From what I seen, he can be too aggressive at times. He sometimes doesn't trust his jump shot, he cannot attack the basket from the left and his defense needs some work but you cannot deny that the is talent there.

To be honest, let's compare the numbers between LeBron James and Tyreke Evans in their rookie seasons (Remember, Evans is 6-5 and LeBron is 6-8)

LeBron James: 20.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg , 5.9 apg and 1.6 spg

Tyreke Evans: 20.2 ppg, 4.9 rpg , 5.3 apg and 1.6 spg

In my opinion, we can even give Evans some brownie points because he's playing in the "Golden Era" of the NBA. Is LeBron the Best player in the NBA? Some say yes. Could Tyreke Evans be in that discussion? only time will tell...
