Boston Red Sox left-fielder Manny Ramirez physically threw the team's traveling secretary, Jack McCormick, to the ground in Houston Saturday before a game against the Astros after Mccormick informed Ramirez that he may not be able to amass the 16 tickets that he had requested for that night's game. Following his assault on McCormick, 64, the 9-time Silver Slugger Award winner did his best Avon Barksdale impersonation as he menacingly screamed "do your fucking job" at the elderly club executive.

"Whatever happens in the clubhouse stays in the clubhouse," Ramirez said before Monday night's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. "I talked to him and everything is fine. He's going to continue being my friend."

Saturday's incident was the second altercation last month that Ramirez was involved in with a member of the organization that he is employed by. On June the 5th at Fenway Park, Ramirez and first baseman Kevin Youkilis had to be separated from one another after tempers flared between the teammates in the Sox dugout.

Ramirez, a village idiot who is skilled at swinging a wooden bat and striking a leather ball, is often granted a pass with the nauseating phrase "It's just Manny being Manny." The native of Santo Domingo should not be provided such ridiculous leeway in this instance. Manny was just a thug and, if the Red Sox don't reprimand their star, they are just as yellow as he is.

  1. "Physically threw", well isn't that a more fun lead than McAdam's "shoved."

  2. Had to look-up McAdams and figure out who he was and what you were insinuating...Presume you are claiming I plagiarized his article...I've never read the Providence Journal in my life and if there is anything I would never do it's swipe someone's work....

Nevertheless, without sarcasm, even though I am sure you hated my material, thanks for the read...

"According to a report by Sean McAdam in today's Providence Journal, Ramirez shoved Red Sox traveling secretary Jack McCormick (pictured right in 2002 Globe file photo) to the ground in Houston in an argument over Ramirez's ticket allotment of 16 for Saturday night's game."

    1. I did not say one thing about plagiarizing, I'm just wondering where you heard "physically threw" when the only reporter to break the news said "shoved." Maybe it's just me, but I think there is a big difference in those two wordings.

  3. the old guy should of done his job. mannys lucky he didn't back hand him either like he did youkilis. Fear Manny

    1. Ha!!!!

      Manny thinks he's Avon Barksale!

    2. That's fair....I don't know...To me, a shove is a push that somebody staggers backwards from.....When someone lands on the ground, they've been tossed....It's all semantics at this point...Like did Clinton bang Monica becuase he got a Lewinsky form her?

  4. For real though Manny is a thug, expect him to pistol whip possada at home plate this weekend.
