Jeff Hardy Didn't Deserve His Push

Yes I know what some of you are thinking, I'm crazy. Please don't hate on this article if your a huge Jeff Hardy fan because it's just my opinion on Jeff Hardy's push and everybody's entitled to their own opinion.

There is one thing I know about Jeff Hardy and that is he didn't deserve the main-event push he received. Which all began at Armageddon 2007 when he pinned Triple H to become the new number one contender for Randy Orton's WWE Championship.

Jeff Hardy returned to WWE after a long 3 year hiatus from the company. Jeff returned to confront Edge and on Raw he beat Edge but via disqualification. Then he started feuding with Johny Nitro for the Intercontinental championship and after weeks of feuding with Nitro he won the title from him.

Jeff then reunited with his brother after 6 long years to reform The Hardy Boyz. After feuding with MNM they became the new World tag team champions. Jeff and Matt soon lost the gold to Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Soon after Umaga pinned Jeff in a squash match to become new Intercontinental champion. Jeff then qualified for Money In The Bank but failed to win the briefcase.

At Survivor Series 2007, Jeff and Triple H were the sole survivors from their team. By many this was said to be the beginning of Jeff's push. Jeff than pinned Triple H at Armageddon 2007 to become the new number one contender for Randy Orton's WWE championship.

Randy Orton punt kicked his brother Matt to build momentum but that definitely couldn't top what Jeff would do the following week. Jeff Hardy performed a 30 foot swanton bomb onto Randy Orton. Many people started liking Jeff and his fan-base grew immensely.

Even though Jeff lost at the Royal Rumble he was still starting to be considered World championship material. Jeff was number one contender many times for the WWE championship but Jeff lost every time until Armageddon 2008. At Armageddon 2008, Jeff Hardy became the new WWE Champion!

Now when Jeff Hardy did what his brother couldn't do despite being with the company his whole career just pissed me off. Matt Hardy competed with WWE time after time hoping that he would once be booked to become the new World Champion.

Did it happen? No.

Should it have happened? Yeah.

Matt isn't the only reason Jeff Hardy didn't deserve his push, there are numerous reasons I can come up with.

Jeff Hardy was suspended two times with the company because of their wellness policy. I would understand if he was suspended one time and he learned from his mistake but two times? The fact that he was being pushed as a role-model for kids just made me mad.

Some people even say that he was suspended three times and the third time was 3 weeks before Summerslam, I'm not sure about that so I'll just say two times. If this was true than he's even less deserving of the push that he got two years ago.

When Jeff Hardy joined TNA that was just the last straw for me. Why would Jeff Hardy leave being on top of WWE to join TNA? Unless he really did get suspended for the third time I don't really see any good reason. I heard that Jeff's The Hardy Show was picked up by MTV but I'm not sure it's going to happen.

The reason for this is because Jeff Hardy got arrested. Yes people, arrested and that too for drug trafficking. He then signed with TNA Wrestling after actually being said to be in touch with WWE for a return. I don't have a big problem with that since TNA needs Jeff Hardy to boost ratings and compete with WWE.

Now the biggest problem I have with Jeff Hardy is the fact that WWE actually wants Jeff back after all he's done with them. Are WWE really that desperate to get Jeff to return? If necessary turn Kofi Kingston into the new Jeff Hardy.

Now I'm not saying I don't like Jeff Hardy, "the wrestler", because I do. He's extreme, entertaining, and fun to watch. I just don't like Jeff Hardy "the person" and his fans don't deserve everything that they've been getting lately.

Whatever right, like Vince said about Bret Hart leaving WWE, "Bret screwed Bret". Just like that I'm saying "Jeff screwed Jeff" and he's going to continue to screw himself until he starts getting a hold of himself.

Thanks for reading and feel free to tell me your opinion on whether Jeff deserved his push or not?
