WWE And Bret Hart Match Made In Heaven

During the era of cartoon wrestling characters Bret Hart was a sidebar.  When it became necessary to have a higher work rate Bret Excelled.  His in work ability was second to none.  While there was a mass exodus to WCW Bret steered the company through a very difficult period.  He helped usher in Stone Cold and his matches with Stone Cold cemented Stone cold as the next big player in the business.  It was Bret's ability to make others around him better that helped bring WWE back from the brink.  Despite the obvious friction between Vince and Bret, Vinnie Mac knows this to be true.  I firmly believe despite the hostilities over the years the respect by Vince towards Bret has brought the relationship back together.

   Vince has always brought guys back. He will always do what's right for the business.  It doesn't always mean he respects them.  Cue the ultimate warrior...

   Bret Hart is different.  Vince respects him. He might kick him in the guts. He may fight him to near death at Wrestlemania ( which would be awesome lets be honest) but it is out of pure respect.  He will bring guys back for the Hall of Fame but he will only wrestle guys he respects.  His match with Hulk Hogan stole the show at WM19. This year will be no different.  

   I hope that Bret stays for a long time.  He is like the Jean Believeau of wrestling ( without the spitting) but I digress.  I know Survivor Series 97 was not Bret's shinning' moment.  However, for us that remember he brought notoriety to the WWE at the time when everyone was shocked he was leaving. WCW had to cringe at the buzz Bret created for WWE. If Bret had rolled out of the ring and left WCW would of been able to capitalize on the "screwjob heard round the world"  As it turned out it helped turn the tide for the WWE.  

  That reason alone in its demented form has cemented the respect Vince has for Bret.  He may shrug it off as taking advantage of a business opportunity but its more than that.  Its this respect that will bring Bret back to the ring and probably cement his already Excellent Legacy
