Brett Favre To Return To The Big Game

Brett Favre wants this game badly. While I predicted a Jets -Saints Superbowl back in week two, I have to also root for one more Superbowl appearances by the greatest man to play the quarterback position in football history. It has been many long years since Brett Favre got to play in this special game. He will have to use all his talent and leadership to beat this Saints team that also appeared all season to be in a drive just for this game. The Vikings have some advantages over this Saints team . They did not get beat by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for one. The running game of Adrian Peterson is far better than what the New Orleans Saints have with Reggie Bush. It is not even close. I like the Vikings defense and receivers way better than what the New Orleans Saints have on their side of the ball. The Saints defense is suspect to me and they did not look good in some of their late season losses. Brett Favre has more options than Drew Brees. Randy Rice is a touchdown maker and makes immediate impact in games. He has been key to the Vikings explosive offensive showings all season.
Brett Favre has the playoff winning experience in tough games that Drew Brees does not have. This could make a huge difference and the only title game the Saints played in recent years was that debacle to Chicago some years back. They looked really bad and unprepared for that embarrassing game. I would not be surprised if the Vikings really hand it to the Saints this weekend on the chin. Look for Favre to return to the big game making the NFL and the network carrying the Super Bowl very happy. It should be interesting tomorrow as we all look forward to see who finally will win their respective championships. Sometimes, I actually prefer the conference championship games to the actual Super Bowl and find these games more intensely interesting than a Super Bowl game.
