Minnesota Vikings

I Thought I Signed Up For The NFL Network..Not Cowboy Worship Network??

It's amazing to me how Bias...and slanted the NFL Network is on Minnesota Vikings history. Forget about the Bogus former players turned (alleged) broadcaster's...And there are many. Rod Woodson and Warren Sapp to name a few. But the Network as a whole continues to focus on the "negative" history of one of the most storied franchises in there history...The Minnesota Vikings! Last week while 96 % of the NFL Networks analyst's spent 79% of there time in Tony Romo's colon, they continually lauded the mighty offense, and defense and QB of the Dallas Cowboys leading up to the Divisional playoff with the Vikings. It wasn't really IF those mighty Cowboys would win...it was by what margin of cow-chippers would enjoy? AND, why not throw a little history on the tube to prepare us for the game...sure, let's dial up the NFC classic at the old Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington Minnesota where Roger Staubach throws his hail Mary to Drew Pearson. Yep, the game that featured one of the most egregious OFFENSIVE pass interference plays in the history of the game. If Drew Pearson did that on the street it would have gotten him at the very least a "pick-pocket" conviction in St. Paul. But, who cares...it was in 1975!! I just love the fact that the NFL Network dials up all there blockhead former players turned genius analyst.."Michael Irvin". Geez, could this guy really BE anymore biased? Jerry Jones must be calling in his favors after ALL of the times he bailed this crackhead out of jail, or jams that never MADE it to ESPN? And then there's the Dallas Cowboy Round table with Staubach, Dorsett, Emmitt, and whoever else they could round up at the corral..errrr Valley Ranch! Really?? Where is the equal time for a Vikes Round table with Bud Grant, Robert Smith... and speaking of Robert Smith, the Ohio State Graduate who actually sounds articulate, well spoken, and classy in his reporting for ESPN College Football programs.....why hasn't HE been invited to join the NFL Network? Marshall Faulk is actually fairly decent on that desk, but please Warren Sapp?? Michael Irvin?? Both need subtitles for God's sake yo understand a good percentage of the time. Make no mistake, the reporting is NOT unbiased...anymore than the Enquirer, Star, or any other tabloid publication is reputable. The NFL sells what the NFL WANTS to sell.... and I'm not buying Goodell.....
