Bubba Trouble a Work...Don't Be Surprised

Jacob BurmanJan 21, 2010

If you watched Impact, you would have seen that they played a clip of Jeff Jarrett on the Bubba Love Show. Sadly, since there was nothing on TV (damn you Clippers for SUCKING), I decided to just see what Impact had to offer and if it was as bad as I read. I'm about 45 minutes into it and I got that Bubba clip.

IF Bubba was really in trouble with TNA, they would NOT be plugging his show. They wouldn't air the clip with Jeff Jarrett, had it been real. Now comes, if that was fake (worked), what makes Kong versus Bubba not a work? Who knows. maybe there was heat, but now TNA is spinning it into an angle. TNA did it with Jeff/Kurt/Karen so who knows WHAT they are capable of. I just wanted to point this out and let you digest this in. Don't get me wrong, TNA isn't the only company known for pulling the most mind confusing storylines ever shown on TV. Remember Mark Henry's love child with Mae Young? Mr. McMahon and the Divas? Or, best of them all, Katie Vick?

But in two hours, they recreated the screwjob for a umpteenth time AND they showed this Hatti thing just might be a work. I won't even talk about the wrestling, as we saw Orlando Jordan take out Pope and Nasty Boys clean win over Eric Young, as the storylines said enough. What is YOUR take on this mess?

UPDATE: "Bubba went on the Howard Stern radio show this morning and pretty much buried the company. Howard thought that the altercation was a work. Bubba called in and said it wasn't. He said TNA was in shambles and he had gone to help them as a favor to Hogan and was given the job of backstage interviewer. He talked about giving away tickets to his listeners for the January 4 live Impact so that, "They wouldn't have the same 40 people showing up to their event." He claimed he had 1800 followers of his Bubba Army standing outside the Impact Zone but Universal Studios staffers told them that Bubba's passes were unauthorized. Regarding the altercation with Kong, he claimed he grabbed Kong by the neck and was ready to giver her a pounding but realized if he did then he may lose his day job. He said he's trying to get hold of security surveillance footage to see if the altercation was caught on tape."

So Bubba continues to shit on the company and now admits he actually did lay his hand on Kong, though he said to not have touched her and blocked her hits on his talk show. Seems like the lies keep building and the story keeps getting twisted. TNA is using facebook, twitter, radio, everything they can to work us. And just like Howard, I'm going to claim this is a work. It's just getting really stupid and the focus isn't on wrestling anymore. TNA: This is NOT Wrestling.
