The Top Five Potential Trades for the 2010 NFL Offseason
With the playoffs soon coming to an end, itās time to look at the offseason. With every offseason, trade rumors surface and spoiled brat crybabies get their feelings hurt. Iām not going to imply what player Iām calling a spoiled brat crybaby, but hereās a hint: He wears No. 6 for the Bears.
The 2010 offseason could be one of the most active in recent memory. Here are my potential trades for the upcoming offseason:
1. Anquan Boldin to the Ravens

With Derrick Mason possibly retiring and Joe Flacco without a No. 1 wide receiver, the Baltimore Ravens will look for a stud wide receiver. With the emergence of Early Doucet this postseason, the Arizona Cardinals can unload Boldin and his contract issues.
2. Brandon Marshall flying high in Seattle
Pete Carroll loves big possession wideouts. Seattle has two first round picks this year and could use one of them to lure Denver into a package deal with Marshall going to the North Pacific. Another team to watch out for is the Miami Dolphins.
3. Michael Vick to the St. Louis Rams
The Rams need a quarterback but wonāt draft one with Ndamukong Suh staring them in the face. Vick and the Rams would make some sense if you think about it. He isnāt going to make a lot of money next year and only has one year left on his contract. Vick could be a serviceable quarterback for one year and then the Rams could unload him and draft their franchise quarterback.
4. Chris Cooley toĀ the Cincinnati Bengals
With a new coach and new offense, Washington will be looking to pile up some draft picks. Fred Davis established himself as aĀ good receiving threatĀ when Cooley went down this season.Ā The Bengals need some offensive firepower, and Chris Cooley could becomeĀ Carson Palmerās new favorite target.
5. One of the Dallas running backs to Detroit
Dallas has three great running backs, and thatās going to cause too many problems. I think Marion Barber may be the odd man out after seeing how they used him in the playoffs, but with Jerry Jones you never know. Since Kevin Smith tore his ACL towards the end of the season, the Detroit Lions will either look to free agency or trade to bring in a running back. Over the past two years, Detroit and Dallas have made two trades with each otherĀ (Roy Williams and John Kitna).
