NFL Draft Links (1/19)

Going to keep a close eye on the mocks and the news coming from St. Louis.  They really have not yet begun to tip their hand which way they will go with the overall top pick.

One thing is pretty clear, some ex-Huskers are cool with that.  (Omaha.com)  The Rams haven’t committed either way.

“I think that’s what we have to focus on at this point, guys who are game-changers on both sides of the ball.”

Adam Carriker would love to see Suh in a Rams uniform.

“Yeah, bring in Suh,” Carriker said recently. “I mean, why not? If they feel he’s the best player. Whoever they bring in, they know what they’re doing.”

Carriker, who’s rehabilitating from shoulder surgery that landed him on injured reserve in the preseason, remembers Suh as a promising redshirt freshman before he left Nebraska for the NFL.

“I knew he’d be good,” Carriker said. “I had no idea he’d be this good. I knew he had a lot of potential, so obviously he lived up to it.”

The NFL Mock Draft Database will do its massive weekly mock munch probably tomorrow.  Check in and see if Suh is still the projected No. 1.  He has been fro 5 straight week, but there are signs mocks are possible pointing to QB Jimmy Clausen.  (RumorsandReports)
