Jan 21st Impact Results

I know I am jumping the gun, but after reading what is going to happen, I cannot wait. I honestly need to express my feelings on the upcoming Impact. If you want to see it live and not be spoiled, do not read, but PLEASE come back after Thursday night...that is, if you didn't shot yourself first...

Before the tapings started, the Impact Zone crowd was addressed by members of the TNA staff. They talked to the crowd about not cursing, making obscene gestures, or gang signs. They called the crowd 'cast members' and basically told the crowd that they needed to be quiet.

Hernandez and Matt Morgan defeated The British Invasion to retain the TNA Tag Titles. During the match, Rob Terry came out and had his X Division Title shot briefcase. Brutus tried to use the briefcase on Hernandez during the match, but he missed and hit Doug Williams instead. Hernandez pinned Williams.

After the match, Mick Foley came out and he hit Rob Terry with a chair. After Hernandez and Morgan left the ring, Foley said something to the camera that could not be heard by the crowd.

After pyro goes off, Ric Flair comes to the ring with two women. Flair says that he hates Hulk Hogan, but he loves TNA. Flair says that he is here to find the next 'Nature Boy'. Flair then brings out the 'next heavyweight champion' A.J. Styles. Styles comes to the ring in a suit and he is accompanied by a woman. Styles puts over the beautiful women in the ring and then the crowd chants 'You are married'. This causes Styles to laugh and there was an awkward pause. A.J. cuts a promo that utilized a style similar to his new mentor.

Kurt Angle comes to the ring with Hulk Hogan. Hogan says that he has changed his mind about Genesis being Angle's last title shot because he runs the show. Hogan announces that Kurt Angle versus A.J. Styles will happen tonight. Hogan says that it is 'damn real'.

Orlando Jordan defeats D'Angelo Dinero with a Flatliner.

It was announced that Ken Anderson will face Jeff Jarrett tonight.

Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne after a bicycle kick. After the match, Love ripped Madison's shirt off and choked her with it. Velvet and Lacey come to the ring and they attack Love with the 'ugly stick'.

Hogan and Bischoff come out. They are tired of The Band running around and they want to see them wrestle. The Band come out and Waltman is smoking. Hogan says that since they don't have contracts, they don't have contracts, they don't work for TNA. Hogan has security escort them out of the building.

Nasty Boys defeated Kevin Nash and Eric Young when Saggs pinned Young after a pumphandle drop.

Mr. Anderson comes to the ring to cut a promo. He talks about his victory over Abyss at Genesis. Abyss is standing behind him and he attacks Anderson until Anderson is able to get out of the ring.

A.J. Styles defeated Kurt Angle with an ankle lock. This match was described as an 'Orlando Screw Job'. Earl Hebner was the referee for this match and he had them ring the bell. Styles, Flair, and Hebner left the ringside area. After the match, Hulk Hogan came out and Angle spat in his face. Angle went to the announce table and took Mike Tenay's chair and throw it into the stage.

Eric Bischoff comes out with blood on his forehead and states that Mick Foley is fired and then he leaves.

So, to begin with, TNA calling fans "cast members" as like they do on a TV show? REALLY!? One of the things that make TNA so different was the fans and their chanting. But I guess after their Monday night show and the PPV, TNA had enough of the fans telling TNA what they thought. So not only do they take signs like the WWE, but the fans are now censored? So much for a better change...

WHY was LAX disbanded? So, after disbanding what was one of the greatest tag team/stables of all time in TNA, you have SuperMex go back to be a tag champ with Matt Morgan? REALLY? Smart idea Russo =/

Well, Styles, so much for having Flair help teach you how to cut a promo. You come out in style and then break down because the fans are chanting at you? No wonder you decided to stay in TNA. You wouldn't make it in the WWE with 2,000-20,000 fans screaming at you. Two hundred or so fans chanting you are married and you break down and smile, then pause? Congrats AJ! Really, promo king right here. Flair should just take you down, hit the Figure Four on you, and take the title right now.

OOOO, ANOTHER AJ vs Angle match? After TNA fans bitch at WWE for giving them the same ole same ole and TNA claiming they are different, we are given yet ANOTHER Angle vs Styles main event? At least WWE kept their word the next day of not having Orton vs Cena for the World Title. Damn!

Pope. Where you at? All you Pope followers and Pope's People must be hiding right now after Pope jobs to who? Orlando Jordan, the same man to have been destroyed by Chris Benoit and then over in Japan by WARRIOR, a man who hasn't wrestled in how long? And all this talk about how good Pope will be in TNA and Pope takes the back seat to Jordan? I guess it isn't as bad as having Daniels losing to Val Venis, but still, come on!

Love vs Beauitful People I can stand. At least there is an interesting storyline to it. May not think Lacey can wrestle, but the story is there. Good enough for me.

The Band gets dumped, whatever, but then have the Nasty Boys take out Nash and Eric Young? What happened Eric? You were going so high, but once Hogan came in, no TV time, no talks about you being champion, where is your group, and now losing to the Nasty Boys. I thought Russo had your back. What happened? Even worse, instead of Nash taking the fall, you put over the Nasty Boys. Man, I bet Petey Williams is glad he isn't in this company anymore.

Guess we aren't getting Anderson vs Jarrett. At least we have another angle, but I don't see much in Anderson. Great speaker, horrible wrestler with a ton of bad luck. Whatever, though, throwing more money to people who do not deserve it, TNA.

Eric getting jumped by Foley, I guess, and Foley being fired. Storyline? Who knows. With the way JB writing on his twitter, JB might actually be gone so who knows what is a storyline anymore. Maybe Foley saw the shit that was going on and asked out of his contract. Wouldn't blame him.

And finally, we get to Angle vs Styles. ORLANDO SCREW JOB??? WTF!!!! Did you not remember the screw jobs that has happened at King of the Mountain with Jarrett getting the belt with the help or Earl? And now you doing it again? COME ON! Bret Hart is over it. Shawn Michaels is over it. Vince McMahon is over it. But no, TNA must copy WWE and do this storyline. We know Hulk and Flair don't like Bret, but Flair, isn't this a slap to the face of Shawn Michaels? And now Angle spitting on the face of Hogan? Now are we going to have Hogan going to get over as a heel next week and Angle screwed Angle? WHY!? If the PPV and the rest of Impact wasn't bad enough, you must recreate a real thing that is finally about to die? Fuck you TNA, you make me sick! And I'm going to stick to my word. I will not watch an Impact show and I hope that the fans that wanted change will refuse to watch Impact. Let TNA die a death they deserve by pissing on the fans and telling them, we don't need you and we won't listen to you, we are going to run the show our way and you will watch and like it. Up yours, TNA!
