Who Am I? What Am I All About?

I started writing on here about a week ago.  I thought it would be best if you, the readers could get to know me.  So this article is going to be a completely self-indulging mental masturbation of an exercise.  Just warning you in advance!

I'm a 26 year old sports fan.  They way I look at it, I'm a sports fan first, writer second. Sports is the muse that inspires me to put pen to paper.  Yes, I did say pen to paper, because it all starts there, I can't just write something at my laptop, but a real pen, and a notebook seem to cure writer's block.

I get my best ideas when I first wake up in the morning. Because of that, I actually have a pen and notebook on my night stand next to my bed.  I think of something, roll over, and write the idea out. Then when I have time I fill in the holes I might have.  When I feel the holes have been filled, I write the article.  Yes, what you see on here is my first draft.  Sometimes I'll re-edit it after the fact, but if I feel it's sufficient, I leave it alone.

I'm from Miami, hence my twitter name is @305sportsdude.  However, I'm not 100 percent on being a Miami Sports fan.

I love the Dolphins, Heat and Canes.

I'm lukewarm on the Panthers but do cheer for them.

I detest the Florida-ahem-Miami Marlins and all they stand for.  I'm a Chicago Cubs fan.

I can't stand Marlins fans either.  Not the ones that actually follow the team, but the bandwagoners that go to Marlins games when they're in the playoffs cheering for them like they've been with the team since Charlie Hough's first pitch. While wearing a New York Yankees cap and a "New York Yankees 26 World Championships" T-Shirt.

I'm a huge fan of professional wrestling.  Great drama, great athleticism.  I just think its lost its way.  It will come back though, it always does.

Dan Marino is the greatest quarterback of all time.  It really isn't his fault he doesn't have a ring.

I'm more into soccer than ever before.  Arsenal is my favorite club, Robin Van Persie is my favorite player.  This is because I own in FIFA with them.

College team? The U.

I'm a pseudo-pro poker player.  It just looks cool to say. But I do play, and occasionally I do have some success.

Finally, my favorite article on here so far? The one about FSU being the next Tennessee.  I love the feedback it got and how many reads its had.

Fact is, I love writing, and I'll write when I feel inspired.  So thanks to everyone that's read my articles and left comments.
