Introducing the LT Electric Glide

Every now and then, the sports world will provide us with a memorable tune to sing along to (or occasionally face-palm). I’ll be one of the first to admit it: I’m a sucker for the Super Bowl Shuffle .

Yet for as legendary as the Super Bowl Shuffle is, its spin-offs have been sub-par.  Meet the LT Electric Glide.

Easy there LT. No need to show the glee.  Just take the knee...to victory. See?

Yes, it is an ad campaign for LT's new self-designed shoe for Nike.  And clearly, they know how to "read the defense." With Gilbert Arenas' recent court appearance, Adidas dropped the star guard from their marketing.  Even though it was filmed prior, what better way to capitalize?

Obviously, this couldn't be a better time for LaDainian to market how swift he is. His rushes are drastically down, and he failed to reach the 1,000 yard plateau for the first time in his career.  What better way to show this than by bragging about elusiveness and agility?

Regardless of how catchy and comical it is, SportsFullCircle  correspondent Tanner Kish may have put it best after he watched the video for the first time.

"You know what, this is ironic...all week I've been seeing those 'Pepsi throwback' commercials, and they show LT's record breaking TD from '06...I kept thinking to myself, 'I cant wait to tell kids in the future that I got to watch that player in my day'...now, after this...joke...I don't think I'll be doing that."

But have no fear LT. Just do the glide against the No. 1 defense in the league this week, and you just may regain some credibility.
