Raider Nation, Support Our Troops!
Raider Nation stand firm!
I know it's been a while since we've seen a product worthy of our hard earned money and time, but realize that WE are a PART of that product!
As fans, we have a job to do. Just like Mr. Davis has his.
We already know that on the field, our chances for success is higher if each player is doing their job.
So, instead of pointing fingers at Mr. Davis or Coach Cable or any of OUR players for not doing their jobs, let's spend that precious time and energy on the one job we can control... ours!
Our commitment as members of The Raider Nation is to:
1. Attend The Game!
If you haven't been to any, start with one. Then two and so on... season tickets should be one of our major goals as a Raider fan!
Don't be one of those fans who sit there throughout the whole game like they're at the movie theaters.
Whether it's starting a chant of "D-FENSE", or you just have the urge to express your excitement about Football's Fabulous Females... cheer!
Speaking of cheerleaders, notice how their always cheering, no matter how the game is unfolding. And I have never witnessed any cheerleader, in any level of football, bring the "boo birds" out.
The Raiderettes know they have a job to do... and so do we.
"If you're going to "boo" (your own team), you shouldn't come to the games!"- Michael Bush.
Not only do we root our team on, but we also need to give hope to some of our fellow Raider fans who seem to get caught up in the negative hype!
"It's easy to tear something down, but it takes more to build something up."
3. Tune In To "The Voice Of The Raiders".
Whether you're watching the game at the Coliseum or on t.v, cheer on the Team Of The Decades while listening to Greg Papa make his touchdown calls.
4. Wear Your Colors!
During the Play-Offs...
During the Pro Bowl...
On Super Bowl Sunday...
During the Draft...
And throughout the Regular Season...
Win or lose...
show your loyalty.., wear your colors!
