Well, 'IT'S TIME"....................  Here we go yet again.  Hamilton has hired Derek Dooley of Louisiana Tech to be the next Head Coach at Tennessee.  Another unproven Coach with absolutely no credentials that says he might be successful in the SEC at a program such as Tennessee.  Oh yea, he has one other thing in common with Lane Kiffin.....He does have a famous dad, Vince Dooley of University of Georgia fame.  Somehow I do not think this translates into a prudent hire for us at this particular time.  What is going on in the head of Mike Hamilton?  When we need experience we get more of the same.

To quote ESPN, "it is quite a leap from Louisiana Tech to the SEC".  A job where he had a 17 and 20 record of wins and losses and had spent two years as a Lawyer before even going in to the Coaching field.  What is wrong with this picture?  I fail to understand this move from any perspective.  I hope and pray that I am wrong; then again, I was saying the same thing when we ended up with Kiffin.  When is it going to be time for Mike Hamilton to stop making us a laughing stock?  I, for one am sick of his power plays and total lack of judgment in his poor decisions that are impacting our program so negatively.  Vince Dooley was one of the all time greats; however this does not mean that his son can do the same in this period of time in the SEC.  How do we justify a continual lack of consideration on the part of our AD with regard to his obvious neglect of the fact that this conference is no place for an unproven inexperienced Coach such as Dooley.

This is not what we needed for success in this conference.  We need experience, wisdom and a Coach that can recruit and excite perspective players.  What did we get?  Only time will really tell; but there is no doubt in my mind that it is time for another change and that is at the post of Athletic Director of Tennessee.  We looked to the future with anticipation after being rid of the likes of Lane Kiffin and what did we get?  Kicked in the teeth if you ask me........
