And they are knocked out of another competition!

All the chatters across the Internet are wanting to get Rafa sacked.. But should he be sacked ?.. Is there another option ?.. We see here..

First they were out of the Champions League in Group Stages itself.. Then a miserable run in the EPL..

Fans said that they will win the FA Cup, Europa Leagua and would finish in Top 4..

But now they are out of the FA Cup also.. But a 1st Division Reading side who managed to earn a penalty in the injury time.. And then went on to score in the extra time..

Still the fans in Liverpool do have their faith in Rafa Benitez.. Well, Why not ?.. He was the man who lead them to European Glory almost 5 years ago.. He was the one who almost won them the League last season..

So should Rafa be sacked now ?...

In my point of view.. The man who lead the club to finish 2nd in the league 6 months ago.. And you make offer him a 5 years deal which he accepts.. Is it right to judge him in these 6 months ?..

I think Rafa should be there till the end of the season.. And they did sign some solid players like Maxi Rodriguez and Marouane Chamakh..

But now that Manchester City has got a good manager and they are winning.. It looks unlikely that Liverpool would find a place in the top 4 this season..

Again.. I think Rafa Benitez is a good manager.. But he needs funds to get in good players so that they can win.. Which means they need new owners who can provide them with cash.. How about some UAE based billionaires ?.. I am sure there would be many who would be interested in buying the club!

And the players themselves need to step up and show that they were the ones who finished 2nd in the league last season..

About Gerrard and Torres.. I would say.. Liverpool won against Manchester United at Anfield last season with both of them on Bench.. But there was a certain Xabi Alonso though.. But it shouldn't make such a difference.. They did win against ManU this time also with Gerrard injured.. So if they stop making such a huge fuss about Gerrard and Torres.. There are still some good players in the team who only need a lil bit of confidence in themselves..

As a Liverpool fan.. I'd say.. You'll never walk alone! But you'll have to walk on your own..

Lets see now what happens in summer!
