What Did McGwire Do Right That Rose Did Wrong?
How do we get a list of rules that Bud Selig will enforce vs. others that he will accept an apology and let go?
Let me begin by saying that I am a huge Mark McGwire fan and want nothing less than to appear to be putting down his incredible career. I have a much different take on steroid use in professional sports than most, believing that it is up to the individual to decide how they handle themselves, their image and their health. If Lasik surgery gives a player better than 20/20 vision, I'm OK with that. When Tommy John Surgery prolongs a career, when it should have or would have been over, I'm OK with that as well. But that's for another article.(Mark McGwires statement)

2020 MLB Re-Draft โฎ๏ธ
Here I would like to question why Mark McGwire has the ability to not only continue his career in MLB (as a batting coach) and will absolutely have the pleasure of seeing himself inducted in to the MLB Hall of Fame, while Pete Rose will be denied that right.
Mark McGwire broke the rules of baseball and refused to come clean for 5 years, in my opinion that sounds very similar to Pete Rose. He also broke the rules of baseball and waited until he admitted his wrongdoing.
It would appear the only difference between the two incredible players is how well one apologized to the almighty Bud Selig vs. the other. Apparently Mr. McGwire is a far better politician than Pete Rose, but should that impact their respective place in MLB history?
Join me and thousands of other fans in asking Major League Baseball to give Pete Rose the honor in enjoying his induction in to the MLB Hall of Fame, rather than his almost certain induction after he passes away. He did his time, allow the almost 70 year old hero to take his place next to the Greats, where he belongs.
