Fantastic Finish for Geoff Ogilvy: Can Zach Johnson Repeat Next Week?

Geoff Ogilvy passed Rory Sabattini to win the SBS Open and repeated as tournament champion—a great performance for a good solid player.

Ogilvy was also my B player in Yahoo! Fantasy Golf and scored me a nice bonus for winning, moving me up in the rankings for the first week.

My A players, Zach Johnson finished 18th, and my bench player, Steve Stricker, finished 10th. I had Stricker for the first two rounds and then switched to Johnson, which in retrospect wasn't a good move.

My other active B player, Sean O'Hair, finished fourth for more points. I also had Sabattini on my team, but on the bench.

I also had Stewart Cink in my lineup as my other alternate B player. My B players were first, second, fourth, and ninth. A good start on the wacky fantasy golf season. My A player was 10th, and my C player added a 23rd place showing.

Next week brings us the Sony Open, also in Hawaii. Zach Johnson won this one last season, and as he played pretty well this last week, I will pick him again to play well on my fantasy team.

This tournament will be played in Honolulu, on the Waialae Course One. Maybe Johnson can repeat like Ogilvy just did.

Zach Johnson will be my A player next week, with Stephen Ames on the bench as a backup.

I will take Rory Sabattini as my B player to start, with Sean O'Hair also playing. On the bench will be Lucas Glover and Stewart Cink.

My C player will be Angel Cabrera, and on the bench will be Matt Kuchar.

Enjoy the NFL Playoffs, as I have predicted the Vikings to play the Chargers in Miami.
