Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts: Jan. 9, 2010
Hereās a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
Matt Barnes, Orlando Magic
After a couple of down games, Barnes bounced back with an 18 point, seven rebound effort.
J.J. Redick, Orlando Magic
Redick had 17 points filling in for Vince Carter, who should be out for a few more games. Redick can be used while Carterās out if youāre looking for a boost in scoring and three-pointers.
Ryan Gomes, Minnesota Timberwolves
We spoke of Gomes yesterday , and he followed it up with another 15 point effort. He added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and a block. Heās a player to consider adding if he can keep it up.
Taj Gibson & Brad Miller, Chicago Bulls
Taj had 13 points, nine rebounds and Miller had 12 points and five boards. Neither are consistent enough to add.
A.J. Price, Indiana Pacers
Price had 23 points last night. Heās still a ways from adding, but he has averaged 11.8 points in his last five games.
Nate Robinson, New York Knicks
Nate scored 20 last night. He still doesnāt have a steady role in the offense so heās a gamble.
Kyle Lowry, Houston Rockets
You have to be pleased with the 16 points he scored if you used him against the Knicks last night, but just three assists? He did also add seven rebounds and three steals. Heās a solid option in daily transactions leagues. Heās averaging nine points, 6.8 rebounds, and five assists in his last five games.
Jon Brockman, Sacramento Kings
He had just five points but grabbed a dozen rebounds. His performance came out of nowhere so donāt chase that box score just yet.
