Alabama Crimson Tide, Enough Said!
As the season end, it is depressing to think of the months ahead without games. Mindless recruiting news, rumors on players and coaching change(s) will dominate the news. With this there are several points I think about to sum up the year.
1) Texas AND national media - enough about IF Colt McCoy hadn't been hurt they would have won the game. Well, if Sam Bradford didn't get hurt against BYU, you might not have won the Big XII. If Mark Ingram hadn't cramped so bad in 3rd quarter, you wouldn't have stopped our offense.
If a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its butt every time it jumped.
2) Crybaby Urban continues to recruit, AFTER announcing he had to step aside due to health issues and because his family was more important. He can't stand being out of limelight so he called the press conference for attention, period. Otherwise, step aside and get your priorities together.
3) Dear NCAA, your efforts to permanently cripple Alabama has failed. I bet the idiots can't sleep at night now that we have won another championship. They can finish an investigation against Alabama in record time; and they still are 'looking' at USC.
4) As a side note for NCAA. How can you complete an investigation and pass punishment against Memphis (basketball) and can't close the deal on Kansas, which used a player whose Texas high school transcript had been changed. Maybe Brian Bosworth was right, National Coalition Against Athletes.
5) The fun now is enjoying our 13th National Championship. Yes 8 since poll era starting in 1936. However, the Howard Scripps and other awards were just as important before 36. All I know is, you can go to the Bryant Museum and see 13 trophies that say national champion.
