Stroll through the Card Collection: The Meatheads
We wanted to bring you along on a weekly stroll through a random sampling of the Worthless Card Collection based on one of the many categories that our subjects have been separated into. Itās fair to say the categories are somewhat subjective.
Baseball haters often carry with them a preconceived notion that most players lack the hardened edge of their counterparts in the other major professional sports. Baseball players are the soft ones they claim, the ones who could manage to go an entire game without accumulating a bead of sweat on a cool day, the ones who can sometimes look like this and still find their way into the league.

Hogwash, we say.
While it may lack the abundance of physical contact and abnormally large humans that are present in professional basketball, football and hockey, Major League Baseball has historically been filled with more than its share of players who would also scoff at such criticismā¦then proceed to take a swig of their 12th can of Stag and call you a pussy.
These boys are the rough and tumble type, men like Joe Orsulak who, while our sources canāt confirm, we believe only sought out a career in baseball because there was no professional league where a man could wrestle various wild animals with his bare hands.
In the JSF Worthless Card Collection, we affectionately offer up to these types the tag of āmeatheadsā. Mainly because it just fits.
It is within the collection where 10 of these men serve as the cyber bouncers in case any of those girls from the NFL or NBA come looking to start a ruckus. If Joe Orsulak can take down a North American Grizzly Bear without the aid of a weapon (and trust us, he can) then we donāt anticipate an NFL linebacker being much trouble.
