RED ALERT: Caps face off against Senators, Pothier returns

The Washington Capitals are set to face off against the Ottawa Senators, fresh off a 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadians, snapping what was then, a three game losing streak. Caps will also get D Brian Pothier back to the lineup tonight.  Pothier has missed the last 11 games.

Pots will be a welcome back to the Caps lineup.  He plays pretty solid defense this season, but has also taken some steps up to make some offensive plays from the blue line.

The Caps are 1-0 with Alexander Ovechkin as team Captain.  He also ranks #1 in Russia as most eligible bachelor.

Russia's Tatler magazine recently published a list of the 25 top bachelors in Russia.

Topping the list was the Washington Capitals new captain Alex Ovechkin.

John Carlson . . Big congrats to John Carlson who scored two goals int he stunning US win over team Canada in the World Junior Championships,  Carlson netted the game winning to lift team USA to an improbable win over the bigger Northern neighbor.  The Hershey Bears are happy for Carlson as well.
