Jeff Hardy Shocks the World By Signing with TNA

The Doctor Chris MuellerJan 5, 2010

It is being reported all over the news sites that Jeff Hardy has signed with TNA.

Dixie and Hogan must have deep pockets to get a guy who was offered a $3 million contract and turned it down.

If this is indeed true then it is a gigantic gain for TNA.  A few months back when Jeff was still in WWE, he was the most popular wrestler in the company.  To this day, his merch outsells some of the other top guys who are still around.

Jeff made a surprise appearance by showing up at TNA last night.  Everyone knew he would be there but many people thought he would not be shown since it has been rumored that he was going back to WWE for Wrestlemania 26 to face CM Punk.

When Hardy does come back to TNA full time then he could shoot to the top very quickly.  Many of Jeff's fans will go where ever he goes, and that is good for TNA.  Time will tell if whether or not this is all going to happen or if it was a one time shot.

Shannon is pretty much a lock with Jeff being his best buddy, so the two may form a tag team or stable of some kind.

I hope TNA doesn't screw this up like the last time they had Jeff on their roster.  He kept falling short of getting the world title last time, now that he is a 3 time WWE champion, maybe TNA will see he can be a top guy.

Jeff is most likely attracted to the light schedule, and free time involved with TNA.  he can pursue his outside interests and appear once a week and at house shows.  It's a good decision for a guy who breaks his back every time he gets in the ring.
