Game 36: Blazers at Clippers, 7:30 p.m., CSN
Los Angeles Clippers coverage at Clipper Blog.
Point Guard
Baron Davis had a rough shooting night in Portland last week. For whatever reason he never got going, but I'm sure he'll turn that around at home tonight.

New NBA Mock Draft 📝
This is a veteran matchup that should be fun to watch from a savvy standpoint. The Blazers also plan on recalling Patty Mills; perhaps he gets into this game and shows the NBA a little something.
Advantage: Portland
Shooting Guard
Brandon Roy has been flat-out monstrous lately. Everything he is doing is key to the Blazers recent success. I expect him to be good again in this game, despite L.A.'s obvious commitment to guarding him.
Eric Gordon has proven that he is also a deadly shooter. We don't seem to guard him that well, so he'll be trouble. But not more trouble than BRoy .
Advantage: Portland
Small Forward
Martell Webster had himself a huge game against the Warriors on Saturday. It would be tremendous if it would continue, but I won't hold my breath on that notion.
The only good thing here is that Thornton's minutes have been diminishing, and his production is even worse. Rasual Butler is playing more and I suspect they both will be better than Webster.
Advantage: Los Angeles
Power Forward
With LaMarcus out, Juwan Howard will try to continue his more than serviceable work at power forward. He has a tough defender in Marcus Camby, but if Howard can pull him away from the hoop and hit that jumper, it will certainly help the Blazers stay in this game. Camby didn't do as much as he is capable of last week against Portland, but I suspect he'll adjust and be a nuisance.
Advantage: Los Angeles
Center
Chris Kaman continues to be a beast for the Clippers—even in their loss to Portland, he put up big numbers. For some reason, it seemed like the Clips weren't ready to utilize their major size advantage over Portland.
The Clipper frontcourt is good against traditional positional teams but the Blazers lack of bodies and size has confused them. I don't think they'll have a problem tonight; at home and with time to adjust, the Clippers will be tough.
Advantage: Los Angeles
Overall Winner: Los Angeles Clippers
