Callum D'SouzaJan 4, 2010

Arsenal progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup after overcoming a 1-0 deficit against a doughty West Ham outfit.

The Gunners started slow and went into the break a goal down, but a strong second half, whichĀ saw Arsenal find the net twice,Ā ensured Arsene Wenger kept his 100 percent record of always making it past the third round.

Arsenal now faceĀ a tough Stoke City side in the fourth round.

Player Ratings

Lukasz Fabianski: 7 —A few fine saves, the Polish international looked calm under the high ball and solid when called upon.

Bacary Sagna: 6.5 —The usual strong defensive performance and wasn't afraid to help out in attack.

William Gallas: 6.5 —Tough and solid, rose well but was caught out on occasions.

Thomas Vermaelen: 6 —A little lackluster from the Belgium. Struggled at times, but overall did well enough.

Mikael Silvestre: 6 —Not the most impressive performance. Caught out for the goal and looked exposed at times.

Alexandre Song: 8 —The Cameroonian will be severely missed when he departs for the African Cup of Nations. As usual, Song cut down the West Ham midfield attacks and contributed well in attack

Fran Merida: 6.5 —Showed glimpses of what we can expect in the future from this bright talent. But on occasion should pass than run.

Aaron Ramsey: 7.5 —A sublime effort to equalize for the Gunners. Passed well and grows with every game the Welshman plays.

Jack Wilshere: 6.5 —Worked hard and ran wellĀ but struggled to find sufficient rhythm. A loan move will do the teenager good.

Carlos Vela: 6.5 —Assisted with the second and winning goal for the Gunners and the little Mexican was unlucky not to be on the score sheet after Robert Green made a good save.

Eduardo Da Silva: 7.5 —The Croatian is slowly regaining confidence and it showed as Eduardo was always threatening and scored the winner with a neat header.

Substitutes

Abou Diaby: 7 —Provided a much needed spark in the second half when he was injected into the fray.

Samir Nasri: 7: Neat touches and runs and always dangerous.
