GILBERT THE GREAT!!!

Where does it all begin? Young man becomes a NBA player, and what should become a new direction in life becomes a path of destruction. Gilbert Arenas has become the new idiot on the block, and he has followed the paths of many, such as J.R. Rider, Letrell Sprewell, Dennis Rodman, Allen Iverson, and Chris Washburn to name a few. Unfortunately, this clown has made millions thus far, and he is financially set for life. Most players in professional sports use the term "It's a business" too loosely because their never treat, or act as if their employment is a business. For some strange reason we have grown to adore the professional idiot, and their antics. Gilbert Arenas is out of control, and he has been for quite sometime. The serious issue is that the Wizards, and Ernie Grunfield were well aware of the "Gilbert Arenas Show" from day 1. The sacrifice was made by the GM, and owner to win. At the time Eddie Jordan, was a great coach, and Gilbert was one of the best guards in the league, but it's amazing how that hypothesis has soured over the last couple of years. It took a fool to pay Gilbert $116,000.00 over 6 years after coming off 2 serious knee surgeries. He wasn't worth the money, and neither was Jamison. The Wizards used half of their salary cap on two players who could have been replaced for less money. As a result, all of the lights have been turned on this season, and we all see that the Grunfield, Arenas, Pollin (rest his soul), and everyone in the organization who rode the wave are also idiot, and should have been  be run out of town long ago. The best scenario for the Wizards at this point would be to hope, and pray that this idiot serves jail time just like anyone else on the planet who is caught in this situation. At that point, they can unload the dead weight of the roster, along with it's free agents, and start fresh. Starting with a new GM, and a fresh new team who wants to win. The secret sauce in this soup is winning. The money, and fame comes with a winner, and not a cry baby. Unfortunately, the Wizards of nothing are not there.
