A day or two ago someone wrote an article stating that "Mayweather was the dumbest person in boxing", which generated a lot of views, in addition some very emotional driven comments that were flagged by the webmasters. However, that article lacked facts, based on assumption and emotions, no logic.

Many people hate Mayweather along with millions of other boxing fans. However, they don't hate Mayweather, because he's a bad boxer, they hate him for who he is and what he represents. The boxing industry does not care about any fighters, boxing is a pimp and whore business.

Mayweather is not going to be the boxing industries whore like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, and Julio Cesar Chavez were. Manny Pacquaio is Bob Arums whore. Bob Arum does not give a squat about Manny, Manny will have to learn hard way like Sugar Ray Leonard did. Oscar De La Hoya, and Floyd Mayweather were signed to Top Rank boxing in the earlier part of their career, but once their career blossomed they got away from Bob Arum, because he was a crook.

Many so called boxing fans fail to realize that Manny Pacquaio has fought 2 fights in 7 months and is scheduled to fight a 3rd fight on March 13, which will be his 3rd fight in 10 months. That's stupid, any fighter in his prime would only fight 2 bouts every 12 months. However, Manny is being exploited by Bob Arum.

When its all said and done Manny will be fighting desperately towards the end of his career to make a buck. Muhammad Ali has Parkinson disease, he took the fights that fans wanted to see, now his health is down the drain. Whereas, Mayweather has strategically paved his career for the long run, that will ensure him success in the ring, financial wealth, and good health when its all said and done.

Joe Calzaghe hung up the gloves after having an extraordinary career in the middleweight division. Many people wanted to see him fight Arthur Abraham, Kelly Pavlik, or join the super six. He's not a ducker, hes 37 years old with wealth, good health and nothing to prove. Shane Mosley took all the fights boxing fans wanted, now hes 38 years old begging for a big PPV fight, in order to retire comfortably.

Floyd Mayweather made $50 million in 2007, by beating De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton, then took a 21 month absence, in order to preserve his career. He made $20 million in the bout against Marquez, now hes on track to be a part of the biggest boxing payday in history, thats not dumb.

Pacquaio, fought De La Hoya and Hatton in a 6 month period, he barely made half of what Mayweather made. You can even add the salary he made with the Cotto fight it still does not amount to what Mayweather made from his 2 bouts in 2007. I feel sorry for Manny he's so wrapped up in his culture he does not even care about the business of boxing, similar to Felix Trinidad, when he was getting whored out by Don King.

Mayweather is not dumb, he just knows the boxing industry and the dynamics that exist. Boxing is all about the hype, and persona, dominated by shady promoters. Mayweather's persona is geared towards making you hate him, so you can spin the big bucks to see him lose, but it never happens, and the more he wins, the more you spend to see him lose.

I live in Los Angeles, and I go to every major event at the MGM Grand. A Vegas bookie once told me that Mayweather will never lose a decision in Vegas, the amount of money placed on the books against Mayweather is enormous. Every major Las Vegas sports book would go bankrupt if Mayweather loses.

Mayweather knows it, the Nevada Boxing Commission knows it and every bookie in Vegas knows it. Therefore, Mayweather plays the villain in order to get boxing fans emotionally involved to the point where they're willing to put up thousands of dollars, with the hopes of Floyd being knocked out.

However, its not happening, Bob Arum knows that Mayweather is too skilled of a fighter to lose to the shorter man, which is why this whole spin about drug testing has boiled into a controversy. Bob Arum does not want Manny to fight Floyd on March 13, so he an make millions off Manny before Manny is no longer a commodity.

Bob Arum and Golden Boy Promotions knew from the gate that this fight would not take place on March 13. Fighting on March 13 does not make financial sense for both parties. The idea about Mayweather wanting Pacquaio to do Olympic style testing was part of the negotiations from the beginning. Bob Arum made it an issue at the end of the negotiations in order to have a valid reason to back out of the fight, not because Manny is scared, but because the loser of this fight is off of Pay Per View for good. When its all said and done Bob Arum will instruct Manny to submit to the testing like the good old boy he is.
