While many teams have already started their offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics are just starting theirs.

Nevertheless, much action is coming from not only them, but every team in the league. Let's dive into the latest rumors from the NBA.

Phoenix Suns

Both Leandro Barbosa and Boris Diaw are on the trading block.

The Suns are looking to move up in the first round and might be forced to trade either Barbosa or Diaw. Phoenix may also consider trading both players for even more in return.

Most talk regarding Barbosa has been with Portland. It is most likely that Portland would offer their 13th pick, Martell Webster, and another player for Barbosa. New York has also expressed interest in Barbosa.

Toronto has inquired about the possibility of trading for Diaw. It is predicted that they will offer T.J. Ford and the 17th pick for Diaw. The talks have died down, but rumor has it that Terry Porter may somehow enter the deal.

Denver Nuggets

Allen Iverson made public his decision to stay in Denver today. There was heated debate among Nugget fans as to whether or not he would opt out.

Star teammate Carmelo Anthony, who has been the subject of many trade rumors recently, wants everyone to know that he probably won't be leaving Denver.

He said through his agent that while he doesn't expect to be traded, he also doesn't expect the team to publicly announce that.

Indiana Pacers

President Larry Bird is very impressed with the depth of this year's draft, and he is actively pursuing a trade that would land him a second first-round pick.

The focus of any potential trade would be, according to Bird, big men and point guards.

Nothing is public information yet, but Bird says that "some things are in the works."

Los Angeles Lakers

Both Sasha Vujacic and Ronny Turiaf want to remain Lakers, but they do not feel obligated to stay unless the price is right.

Both players' futures will be discussed at length during the summer.

As a Phoenix Suns fan, I would definitely welcome a trade of Boris Diaw for TJ Ford and a few other things. Check out my latest article to see my hopes for the Phoenix Suns.

I really don't see Vuajcic and Turiaf in a Lakers uniform next season. Unless of course, its a one year deal where Sasha and Ronny will become free agents next season. They are gonna want bigger contracts and I can't see the Lakers wanting that when Bynum's contract comes up. They'll be stacked with long term contracts for the next several years.

As a new Suns fan, I also want to see TJ in our uni. He would help us get over that "hump" we seem to cross every year.

Yes, the biggest obstacle that faces the Suns is the San Antonio Spurs. More specifically, Tony Parker. I'm not sure about Ford's defensive ability, but I know he has the quickness to blow by any defender in the league, and hopefully he can translate that quickness to the defensive end. If we could slow down Tony Parker and perhaps get him out of his comfortable mindset that he always seems to have against the Suns, I think it would dramatically change a Suns/Spurs possible match.
I like the Martell Webster trade as well, again check out my article (if you haven't already) I've been scoping the guy out and he seems like a solid player. Reminds me of a younger Ray Allen. I love Barbosa, but in the mind of running a business I would do this trade (that is, if we can acquire Channing Frye as well.)
I'm thinking a trade involving Barbosa and the Blazers will most likely add the New York Knicks to the table too, I'm not sure how much Mike D'Antoni likes Barbosa, but if he really wants him in New York I can the see the Knicks swapping picks to acquire LB. So a trade like this: Barbosa and No. 15 pick to the Knicks, #6 pick and Balkman (filler) to the Blazers, and Martell Webster, Channing Frye, and the No. 13 pick to the Suns. Probably asking for way too much. But isn't any diehard fan?

I don't think the Suns are championship contenders anymore. Nash is not close to the player he was 2-3 years ago, Hill is pretty much finished, Bell is has lost a step and Shaq is at the end of his career and slow. Amare is the only young and explosive player. They are bad defensively and can't match up with several other teams in the West such as the Lakers, Jazz, Hornets, Spurs among others.

If Iverson is involved in a trade it better be with the Twolves. (Yeah. I know. Impossible. Let me dream.)

The NBA Finals was a proof that The Lakers need better outside shooters so other teams won't clog-up the lane. Sasha is one piece that they can't loose. Ronny can be replaced.
