I don't know about you but I have just about had it with Tony Stewart's mouth! Smoke was at it again in post race interviews after the conclusion of the Life Lock 400 at Michigan today.
Rewind to Friday morning when NASCAR called a drivers meeting to talk about issues with the new car.
Obviously I was not present at the discussion, but what I drew from the coverage was that NASCAR wants the drivers to stop dogging the car in the media, shut up, and race. Complaints or comments on the car can be addressed to NASCAR directly-not through the press.
I know that there are problems with the car, and these need to be addressed, but I, like NASCAR, have been a little annoyed with all the complaining.
I think it's stupid when a driver gets out and says how bad the car sucks after they run third, or win (ala Kyle Busch at Bristol in 2007)!
Tony Stewart absolutely grates my nerves almost everytime he is interviewed.
He is the most negative person I think I have ever heard in professional sports!
Instead of praising his car and team Tony gets out and starts saying, "I don't know what to say...ask Mike Helton. I guess we had a great car or at least I think that's what I am supposed to say."
Tony...SHUT UP! You ran 5th! That's a good day.
Your car may not have been what you wanted it to be BUT YOU GOT A TOP-5 and ran better than both your teammates. In true Tony fashion he finds a way to turn a good run into another negative comment.
I don't know if Tony has a chip on his shoulder because he has not won a race and his teammates are kicking his ass.
Sometimes I just wish when a microphone gets put in his face somebody would come running with a muzzle!
