First off, good news concerning the 2009 recruiting class, as Bama got commitment number seven for next season and lineman number five in Quinton Dial from Clay-Chalkville in Birmingham. Rumor has it that with camp starting Sunday, there could be a string of commitments coming in the next few weeks.
Now on to this week's topic.
So last week I covered which recruit of last year's class was going to help out the most this upcoming season. Somewhat to that tune, I compared Julio Jones to DJ Hall and whether or not Jones can surpass Hall's record numbers at the Capstone.
So this week, I am still sticking to the incoming class, but moving off of the individual.
The topic this week is: which unit is going to benefit the most from this incoming recruiting class.
There are plenty of ways you can twist this. You can look at the short term, as in the way Kareem Jackson came in and helped out tremendously in the secondary last year. You can also look at the long term effects, where you can look into which unit will benefit the most over this class' time at the Capstone.
Here's a good way to divide up the units on the team...

That's all for this week. Thanks guys.
