1. Texas 8-0

Texas looks like the best team in the country, but Florida is not far behind.

Next: UCF

2. Florida 8-0

Tebow and the Gators looked good against the Dawgs minus that whole Brandon Spikes incident.

Next: Vandy

3. Alabama 8-0

The game this week is huge, and I’m just talking about the SEC West. Coach Saban had better get them ready.

Next: LSU

4. TCU 8-0

Their first shutout of the season, against a bad UNLV team.

Next: San Diego State

5. Cincinnati 8-0

The Bearcats have a rough schedule to end the year.

Next: UCONN

6. Oregon 7-1

I bet they wish they had another crack at Boise

Next: Stanford

7. Boise State 8-0

I don’t know what they can do to pass TCU in the BCS.

Next: La Tech

8. Iowa 9-0

Even the Hawkeyes can make an easy game on the schedule turn into a heat attack.

Next: Northwestern

9. Penn State 8-1

They got a scare from the wildcats, they’ll get another one this week.

Next: Ohio State

10. Georgia Tech 8-1

If they want respect they’ve got to prove themselves this week.

Next: Alabama

12. Pittsburgh 7-1

They get a warm up game before it gets rough.

Next: Syracuse

13. USC 6-2

This was their worst lost since 1997. What happened to Big Game Pete?

Next: Arizona State

14. Houston 7-1

They got a scare from Southern Miss, they’ll get the best from Tulsa this week.

Next: Tulsa

15. Ohio State 7-2

The last three games of the season will define the Buckeyes, The Pryor and Tressel show had better be on cue.

Next: Penn State

They’ve got one more week till TCU.

Next: New Mexico

17. Miami 6-2

They got lucky to steal a victory from the Decons.

How will the Irish handle Navy’s crazy offense?

Next: Navy

20. Oklahoma State 6-2

I bet they wish they had Dez Bryant, Barry Sanders, and Thurman Thomas last week.

Next: Iowa State

21. California 6-2

They still have an outside shot of winning the PAC 10.

Next: Oregon State

22. Wisconsin 6-2

They’ve won the games they were supposed to win.

Next: Indiana

They still need one more win to become bowl eligible.

24. BYU 6-2

Hopefully they’ve shaken the thoughts of the TCU game.

25. Virginia Tech 5-3

The Hokies show us once again that they’re just a bunch of turkeys.

Next: East Carolina
