Juventus Transfer News: Anthony Martial, Alvaro Morata Ultimatum Rumours
Juventus will reportedly sign either Manchester United forward Anthony Martial or Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata this summer as they can't afford to finance both deals.
Tuttosport (h/t Calciomecato.com) reported the Bianconeri could re-sign Morata, 25, for around €60 million (£53 million), while Martial's ticking contract could mean United cash in "for a fee close to €50 million (£44 million)."
The alternative in Morata's case is said to be a season-long loan for €15 million (£13 milion), with the option of paying another €45 million (£39 million) to make the move permanent in 2019.

Calciomercato included quotes from Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta, who was quizzed on the recent links to Morata: "I think he was happy at Juve but right now he is a Chelsea player and there is nothing else I can say about him."
The Spain international left Turin in 2016 and spent a season at Real Madrid before moving to west London. Football writer David Amoyal admitted his shock at Morata's struggles to acclimate in England, having netted only 15 times in 45 Chelsea appearances:
That record equates to an average of one goal in every three appearances for the Blues, but Morata's tally of 27 goals in 93 games for the Bianconeri is worse again (almost one goal every four games).
Martial is three years Morata's junior and has endured a difficult campaign under Jose Mourinho, but Bleacher Report's Sam Pilger offered evidence to suggest the Frenchman warrants further investment of time:
The malleable attacker arrived at Old Trafford from AS Monaco in 2015 as that year's Golden Boy winner and with so much promise ahead of him, but there are those who see his 26 starts this season as too low a number.
United paid an initial £36 million to land Martial, but his 25th competitive goal for the club last season triggered a clause in his contract to cost the Red Devils another £8.5 million.
Alexis Sanchez's arrival at United has seen Mourinho mostly accommodate him ahead of Martial. Although Calciomercato cite his 2019 contract expiration as cause for a cut-price deal, United have the option to extend by a further year.
Martial has played the full 90 minutes in only eight of his 44 appearances this season but has impressed with 11 goals and nine assists, although ESPN's Mark Ogden doesn't think it will be enough to see him stay:
Taking into account Martial's age, a potentially lower cost and the fact he can play out wide as well as in a more central role as he did at Monaco, one can see how the younger of the two looks like the better option.
What's more, Juventus are already well-stocked in the striker department as Gonzalo Higuain leads the line and has Paulo Dybala for back-up, unless Morata is content returning to a deputy's role in Turin.
