Tottenham Transfer News: Mousa Dembele Eyed by Juventus in Latest Rumours
Juventus are reportedly monitoring developments in Mousa Dembele's contract situation at Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Tom Collomosse of the Evening Standard, the midfielder "made a huge impression" on Juve's technical staff during their UEFA Champions League last-16 tie with Spurs, and he will soon be out of contract with little more than a year remaining on his deal.
The Bianconeri are aiming to reduce the average age of their squad, but a cut-price deal or free transfer for the 30-year-old could be a bargain.

Per Collomosse, he recently told Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure:
"At this moment, I am very happy at Tottenham. I do not lie when I say that I do not think about a big transfer. I want to play a World Cup and afterwards we will see.
"Really, I'm not aware of the interest of other clubs. And, besides, I told my agent to wait for the summer to tell me about any offers. For now, I'm only focusing on Tottenham. Maybe this is my last season. Or maybe I'll sign a new deal. We'll see."
It's hardly surprising Dembele caught their eye; though he often flies under the radar, he's among the best central midfielders the Premier League has to offer. Football writer Jack Lang rates him highly indeed:
The Belgian is virtually flawless with the ball at his feet, thanks in part to his unerring distribution.
His remarkable strength allows him to out-muscle all-comers; he not only uses it to hold off opponents but also combines it with graceful movement and a deft touch to be able to beat players so reliably it almost defies belief.
According to Squawka, he has completed 92 per cent of his attempted passes in the Premier League this season and 83 per cent of his take-ons.
Football.London's Alasdair Gold praised him during Spurs' win over Arsenal in February:
The one glaring weakness in Dembele's game is that he struggles to make an impact in the final third.
Playing further forward, he contributed goals and assists at AZ Alkmaar, netting 33 and creating 16 in 148 appearances, but he has just 10 and 11 in 232 outings in a Spurs shirt, not only because of his deeper position but perhaps also a lack of composure in attacking areas.
That may not be of significant concern for Juventus, though, as they have plenty of goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala and creativity from the likes of Miralem Pjanic.
Spurs should be eager to keep hold of Dembele, but the silverware on offer in Turin would likely hold plenty of appeal.
Dembele's only honours came with AZ in 2009, and at his age, he has relatively little time to add to the collection, which is where Juventus could come in.
