The Usos Have Earned Prominent WWE WrestleMania 34 Match After Career Year
If The Usos aren't involved in a prominent match at WWE WrestleMania 34, surely someone deserves to be locked up in the Uso Penitentiary.
It's hard to argue The Usos are not far and away the hottest tag team on any WWE show, which has been the case for many, many months. In fact, they have been firing on all cylinders since turning heel in September 2016, when they reinvented themselves and breathed new life into a stale act.
From ditching their tired entrance music to sporting new attire, The Usos revamped their appearance and attitude. As a result, they became the top tandem in SmackDown Live's tag team division and clinched the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Despite experiencing a career resurgence, The Usos were conspicuous by their absence on the WrestleMania 33 card. At the time of the event, they were the SmackDown tag team champions. However, their talents were instead wasted in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the Kickoff show.
The blue brand's twin titles were the only belts not on the line that night. That had to have been a slap in the face to The Usos, who had been taking SmackDown by storm in the months preceding the pay-per-view.
Regrettably, that was not the first time they have been slighted during WrestleMania season, as they have yet to compete in a match on the main card at the Showcase of the Immortals.
The Usos technically made their WrestleMania debuts as part of the pre-show Battle Royal. They have vied for the WWE Tag Team Championships on the Kickoff show several times and even took on The Dudley Boyz in 2016.
It's almost unbelievable that a team with their longevity—the Usos have been around for almost eight years—has never once wrestled on the actual 'Mania broadcast.
Needless to say, with the career year they have had, that must change for The Usos at WrestleMania 34.
As Jimmy and Jey have alluded to in past promos, they have essentially run through the SmackDown Live tag team scene over the past year.
The New Day, Breezango and, most recently, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin have all fallen to The Usos at one point or another. The Bludgeon Brothers have yet to contend for the straps and could be next in line for a title shot.
Assuming their likely rivalry stretches beyond Fastlane, they could clash in a rematch at WrestleMania 34. Those two teams have previously proved to have exceptional chemistry, so allowing them to kick off WrestleMania 34 would be ideal.
However, The Usos could do even better than the opening slot on the WrestleMania card. The Bludgeon Brothers may not be high-profile opponents for them, but Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would be.
Owens and Zayn have been fixtures in the WWE Championship picture for months, so their change of focus toward the SmackDown tag team titles heading into WrestleMania would be a big deal, to say the least. Plus, a 'Mania match pitting them against The Usos could steal the show.
Regardless of their dance partners come April 8 in New Orleans, The Usos have earned the right to be showcased at WWE's most important event of the year after all they have accomplished lately.
