All eyes are on Game 1 of a classic NBA Championship rivalry series that pits the formidable and focused Los Angeles Lakers, and the rejuvenated boys from Beantown—the Boston Celtics. The question of the day is: will the Celtics feast on home cooking, in keeping with their recent trend, and demolish the Lake Show? Or can Kobe and Krew keep it close and pull out a win in the bad guy's building?

Oddsmakers say  the Lakers will at least keep it close. The line opened at Celtics –3, trended down to Celts –2.5, and is now holding steady at the original  –3 handicap. At press time, 35,000 wagers have been placed at the books monitored by Sportsinsights.com.
