NFL Playoff Scenarios 2017-18: AFC, NFC Bracket Picture and Super Bowl Odds
On December 3, it had all slipped away from the Kansas City Chiefs. They had lost six of their past seven games, their once-formidable lead in the AFC West had disappeared and they were in a three-way tie for the lead in the division with the Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers.
Just when it looked like the Chiefs (8-6) were done, they have bounced back with wins over the Raiders (6-7) and Chargers (7-7). They have a one-game-lead in the AFC West plus a tiebreaker advantage. The Chiefs have the inside track on winning the AFC West title.
The Chiefs are likely to join the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-2), New England Patriots (10-3) and Jacksonville Jaguars (9-4) as division champions in the AFC.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Steelers have already clinched the AFC North title, and if they beat the Patriots Sunday, they would seal home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
If the Patriots win, they would secure the AFC East title and have the inside track on home-field advantage. The Pats would also win the division if the Buffalo Bills (7-6) lose at home to the Miami Dolphins (6-7).
The Jaguars can clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Houston Texans (4-9), but if they lose that game, they can also punch their ticket to the postseason with other scenarios that include the Baltimore Ravens (7-6) losing to the winless Cleveland Browns (0-13).
The Tennessee Titans (8-5) and Buffalo Bills have the lead in the race for the two AFC wild-card spots. If the Bills hold on to their position, they would earn a spot in the postseason for the first time since 1999.
The Ravens, Chargers, Raiders and Dolphins are also in contention for AFC wild-card spots.

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-2) and Minnesota Vikings (10-3) have the lead in the race for the top two seeds in the NFC. The Eagles have already clinched the NFC East crown, and they would earn home-field advantage throughout the playoffs if they beat the New York Giants (2-11) and the Vikings lose to the Cincinnati Bengals (5-8).
If the Vikings beat the Bengals, they will win the NFC North title.
The New Orleans Saints (9-4) and the Los Angeles Rams (9-4) have the leads in the NFC South and West respectively, and they have the edge for the third and fourth seeds.
The Carolina Panthers (9-4) and Atlanta Falcons are holding on to the fifth and sixth seeds, but they are being chased for the NFC wild-card spots by the Seattle Seahawks (8-5), Detroit Lions (8-6), Green Bay Packers (7-6), Dallas Cowboys (7-6) and the Arizona Cardinals (6-7) .
The Lions beat the Chicago Bears 20-10 Saturday.
