Dez Bryant Rips Fan for 'Trying to Tarnish' Him After Ezekiel Elliott Reports
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant took to Twitter Monday morning, defending teammate Ezekiel Elliott amid reports of an altercation outside a Dallas bar and defending himself against fans lumping their situations together.
Bryant tweeted (note: contains language NSFW) that one fan was "trying to tarnish [his] name" after the person asked the Cowboys wideout to provide Elliott with "guidance" because "you were here once too." The tweet has now been deleted.
Bryant also implored the public to wait until more details come out in the Elliott case, saying he could have been acting in self-defense. That tweet has also since been deleted.

Bryant, 28, was arrested in 2012 on a domestic violence charge after an alleged altercation with his mother. The case was dismissed after Bryant attended anger management classes and stayed out of trouble with the law for a year as part of a deal with the prosecution. (It was not, however, a plea bargain; Bryant's mother had asked the court not to file charges.)
Bryant has not spoken publicly about the incident. He did say he was "done with domestic abuse" when speaking to reporters in 2013 after a "Men Against Abuse" rally in Dallas.
Dallas police confirmed in a statement that it's investigating an incident that took place at Dallas' Clutch Bar on Sunday night, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Adam Schefter and Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan first reported Elliott's alleged involvement in the altercation. No further details are available at this time.
