First, I would like to say that I have Chronic Back Pain and take some pretty strong medications EVERY day.

Over the weekend, I watched three race's (NNS, ARCA and Cup) and I saw a Yellow flag come out for a Plastic Water Bottle!

How dangerous is a Plastic Water Bottle?

I can remember when Robby Gordon threw his Plastic Water Bottle out his window hoping that Nascar would throw a Yellow flag for DEBRIS, and allow him to get a lap back!

I saw Tony Stewart get a gift Sunday when after pitting under green and then Nascar waived a Caution Flag for DEBRIS.

The problem I have is that the wad of Duct Tape had been on the track for TWENTY laps, why NOW?

DEBRIS cautions have ALWAYS been suspect with Nascar and they can TOTALLY change the outcome of a race!

So what if a driver runs over a Plastic Water Bottle?

Will it cut a tire? NO!

Will it do damage to the undercarriage of a race car? NO!

Can it go through a drivers windshield? NO!

Can it cause a major wreck? NO!

Can it change the outcome of a race? YOU BET IT CAN!

So WHY was a Yellow Flag thrown for a Plastic Water Bottle that was probably thrown out of a drivers car window?

All of the race tracks have spotters looking for DEBRIS with binoculars. They can see that it is NOT GLASS!

Fans aren't watching these races now that the NFL is going heads up with Nascar. The fan's aren't going to the race track like they used to!

Yes, the Economy has a lot to do with attendance, but it doesn't cost a dime to take control of your TV remote and choose the NFL over Nascar or vice versa!

Luckily, I have the best of both worlds with a split screen LCD Monitor that allows me to watch Football and Nascar at the same time.

I live in HOT Arizona and Plastic Water Bottles are EVERYWHERE out here.

I wonder if I threw a Plastic Water Bottle out of my car window, would the DPS close off the Hwy 60 until someone could remove The Plastic Water Bottle?
