Matt Cassel out 6 Weeks After Injuring Thumb in Titans OTAs
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Mularkey announced Wednesday that quarterback Matt Cassel will miss about six weeks after suffering an injury to his throwing thumb at OTAs on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old Cassel is the primary backup to starting quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Despite suffering a fractured fibula in Week 16 of the 2016 season, Mariota took his first OTA reps last week.
