Langston Galloway, Pistons Reportedly Agree to 3-Year, $21 Million Contract
Point guard Langston Galloway is reportedly heading to his fourth NBA team in four seasons.
On Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported the Detroit Pistons and Galloway are finalizing a three-year, $21 million deal.
Galloway went undrafted out of Saint Joseph's University but found his footing down the stretch of the 2014-15 season with the New York Knicks and averaged 11.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 32.4 minutes per game in 45 contests. Those numbers are still career highs, as he has seen his minutes decline every season since.

Every Team's Biggest Regret This Season 😞
He signed with the New Orleans Pelicans before the 2016-17 campaign after the Knicks rescinded his qualifying offer and scored 8.6 points a night in 55 games. The Pelicans then traded him as part of the package that brought DeMarcus Cousins to New Orleans from the Sacramento Kings after the All-Star break.
Galloway played just 19 games with the Kings and posted six points a night as a rotation player for the struggling franchise.
While the numbers don't jump off the page, Galloway is only 25 years old and can stretch the floor with his shooting. He flashed moments of brilliance from deep at 47.5 percent in those contests with the Kings and is also an athletic option on the defensive side who can stay in front of ball-handlers.
Opponents shot 2.5 percent worse than their normal averages when Galloway guarded them in 2016-17, per NBA.com.
Between his defense and his shooting, Galloway still has a bright future as a rotational piece for his new team.
