
Lakers Assistant GM Glenn Carraro Resigns After 17 Years with Franchise
Los Angeles Lakers assistant general manager Glenn Carraro resigned Thursday, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski. Lakers Nation's Serena Winters confirmed the news.
Carraro had been with the Lakers since 2000 and was promoted to assistant general manager in May 2012.
According to NBA scribe Nate Duncan, Carraro played an integral role in the Lakers' front office as one of the team's primary salary cap consultants.

Carraro also previously served as the general manager for the the Los Angeles D-Fenders—the Lakers' NBA D-League affiliate.
Carraro's departure comes weeks after the Lakers instituted wholesale changes to their front office.
Following the dismissals of Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss, the Lakers brought Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka aboard as their new president of basketball operations and general manager, respectively.
