Lance Stephenson Signs 3-Year Contract to Reunite with Pacers
Lance Stephenson is set to return to the Indiana Pacers, as the sides came to terms on a three-year deal, the team announced Thursday.
ESPN.com's Chris Haynes first reported the news on Wednesday, and noted the contract is worth $12 million with the first two years guaranteed and the third being a team option.
The 26-year-old Stephenson spent the first four seasons of his career with the Pacers and enjoyed a career year during the 2013-14 campaign.

Stephenson averaged career highs with 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game for a team that reached the Eastern Conference Finals.
The former second-round pick out of Cincinnati signed with the Charlotte Hornets the following offseason, but he was unable to continue his high level of play.
Since leaving Indiana, Stephenson has played for the Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Pels waived Stephenson this season after just six games in the wake of suffering a groin injury.
He then appeared in six games for the T-Wolves on a 10-day contract, but they decided against bringing him back.
The Pacers are seventh in the Eastern Conference at 37-37, and with both guard Rodney Stuckey and center Al Jefferson set to miss several weeks, per Fox Sports Indiana, Stephenson adds some much-needed depth.
Indiana tweeted that it waived Stuckey on Wednesday to make room for Stephenson.
