JaVale McGee Shows Off Bizarre Haircut in Warriors' Preseason Opener

JaVale McGee needs to stand out during preseason games to earn playing time on a stacked Golden State Warriors team.

So far, so good. The mercurial center recorded five points, four rebounds and three blocks in 16 minutes during Saturday's 97-93 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

He also opened some eyes with his unconventional hairdo.

While it looks like his barber made an odd mistake in the back, McGee said it's simply "something new."

Well, it certainly is.
