Miami Hurricanes Pay Tribute to Jose Fernandez

Jose Fernandez's death after a tragic boating accident affected many throughout the sporting world. Players and teams have paid tribute to the late pitcher, including his former team, the Miami Marlins.

Fernandez was a gifted pitcher, but his influence in the Cuban community continues to go far beyond the reach of sports even after his death. 

The No. 14 Miami Hurricanes will honor the memory of Fernandez on their helmet this Saturday when they take on the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech.
