Falcons QB Matt Ryan Dives to Avoid Blocking Saints DT Nick Fairley
Andrew GouldSep 27, 2016
Matt Ryan continued his stellar September on Monday night, amassing 240 passing yards and two touchdowns during the Atlanta Falcons' 45-32 win over the New Orleans Saints.
And thanks to a comical (yet smart) dive, the quarterback left the NFC South showdown in one piece.
As running back Devonta Freeman ran to the edge, Ryan found himself in the path of Saints defensive tackle Nick Fairley. Rather than block, or at least try to get in the 308-pound defender's way, the signal-caller flopped to the ground.
