The 2014 second-round draft pick has three receptions for 44 yards and one touchdown so far this season as the Bucs' top receiving threat at tight end.
Seferian-Jenkins totaled 42 catches for 559 yards and six touchdowns in his first two NFL campaigns, though he missed 16 games due to injuries.
The Buccaneers will host the Los Angeles Rams in their Week 3 game Sunday. Cameron Brate will likely see an increased role at tight end, while even more of the receiving burden will fall on wideouts Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson.
