Fan Receives Beer Money After Putting Venmo Account on 'College GameDay' Sign

If only life were this simple.

A fan in the ESPN College GameDay crowd made a sign reading "Hi Mom! Send beer money" and included his Venmo account name. While Sam Crowder's mother may not have complied, many viewers did.

Venmo provided the remarkable tally of payments later in the afternoon:
