Hawks Use Emojis to Reveal Team's 2016-17 Schedule on Twitter

While the NBA and its teams revealed their respective schedules Thursday evening, the Atlanta Hawks used a different method of showing fans on Twitter whom the team will play in 2016-17.

For those who aren't fluent in emoji, you can check out the Hawks' full slate at NBA.com. 

Atlanta will begin a potential journey to its 10th consecutive playoff appearance when its season starts at home against the Washington Wizards on Oct. 27.

Despite the streak, the Hawks have made it past the Eastern Conference Semifinals only once in that stretch. That came in 2015, when they lost in the conference finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

If the Hawks can put together another solid regular season and get over that postseason hump this year, they might want to start using emojis more often.
