Florida State Spent $62K on 265 'State Championship' Rings

The Florida State Seminoles capped last year's 10-3 season with a 38-24 loss to the Houston Cougars in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

But they did defeat the South Florida Bulls, Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators.

So the program bought "State Champs" rings.

According to Deadspin's Samer Kalaf, FSU forked over $62,010 for the jewelry. The team's Peach Bowl appearance is noted on the side:
